Questions hosts ask
What if my guest booked through Airbnb or Booking.com?
By default, discounted offers are shown only to guests who booked with you directly, because the platforms don’t allow moving their guests off-platform. You can change this setting yourself.
Do I have to do anything when a guest extends?
Not if they pay by card: once you connect your Stripe account, the money goes straight to you and the nights are blocked in your VilaTab calendar automatically, which Airbnb and Booking.com pick up. If the guest prefers WhatsApp and cash, you confirm and block the nights yourself.
Who owns the tablet?
You do. If you stop the subscription, the tablet is yours to keep and use as a normal tablet.
What if it breaks or gets stolen?
Defects are covered by the manufacturer warranty. Damage, loss or theft aren’t; a replacement tablet is €239 (8.7″) / €349 (11″).
Does it need internet?
Yes, it uses your property’s Wi-Fi. It keeps showing the last known information if the connection drops for a while.
